Moments of Bloom: A Look Back at Our Spring Retreats🌸

We’ve just wrapped up two beautiful spring retreat programs, and our hearts are full.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve welcomed incredible guests from near and far including the States, Canada, Singapore, France, Switzerland, and UK, to share moments of mindfulness, creativity, and connection here in the peaceful countryside of Fukuoka.

With plums and cherry blossoms in full bloom and the air fresh with the feeling of renewal, this season offered the perfect setting to slow down, reflect, and enjoy the richness of Japanese culture together.

Both programs brought together such warm, open-hearted groups, and I can honestly say that I and the team had just as much fun as the guests.

Looking back at the photos still makes me giggle—so many little inside jokes, shared laughs, funny moments, and even a few happy tears. There’s something truly special about the connections that form during these retreats, and those memories stay with us long after everyone heads home.

From the kimono experience and matcha ceremony to outdoor bath day, Japanese cooking class, plant dye workshop, aroma bottle making, calligraphy meditation, Zazen practice, and the temple ritual—each activity brought something unique and meaningful to the retreat.

I was so happy to see everyone not only having a great time but also learning deeply through these experiences. It was beautiful to witness the curiosity, creativity, and openness that each guest brought to every moment.

With several returning guests already expected this year, we’re feeling so excited and grateful as we look ahead to the next retreat program.

For those who are hoping to join us in the future, the next available opportunity will be from April 2026. We’d love to welcome you when the time is right—stay tuned for updates as we get closer to opening bookings.
